  (David) Updates

From the old boards and posted by David: Finally, Houston we have updates. The Visigoth A is up but Brickshelf refuses to take the union and leopard pics. I can post them in a message if i could figure out how. Which means I'd really like to know (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Re: Official Website Is Launched!

(...) Very nice. I had no problem on a 56K modem, calling from (cough) southern Africa. Now, if *that* doesn't show up problems, nothing will. It took a bit to load, so maybe an indicator of some kind on the screen (loading...please wait) might help (...)   Re: Simply A-mace-ing

(...) While not really a good fix, there's the temporary solution of adding +1 CP to change the Stun damage to Normal damage, but it's not directly supported, only indirectly (see 9.1.1 creature creation rules): "By default, this attack has a UR of (...) (...) Hey Jeff, The site looks great, well designed and easy to use. I am on a phone modem and it does take a while to load, but it's worth the wait!   Scimitars?

Now, I know the esteemed Mr. Mick Royhook had come up with some preliminary Scimitar Stats ... but I can't seem to find them yet (I'm not at the home computer, or, as I like to call it, CLUB BRIKWARS). Any chance we can get a reminder from the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jun-03, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Simply A-mace-ing

Let me dispense with my bias up front: I think maces are *so* cool. Those beautiful skull-crunching flanges, that sleek round shaft, that brushed nickel color ... I love a good mace. Plus, there isn't much cooler than a knight in full armor, letting (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jun-03, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Official Website Is Launched!

(...) Generally sales sites that use Flash offer an HTML-only alternative. And though I have a good connection with all the fixins, I still click that one. Flash is just that—flash. Nonetheless, I like the design of the site (save the pop-up). And I (...) SPENCER - The handles are round. Look at some of the "detailed" pics. Sales?, unlikely. When I reach LEGO-like status, maybe.   Re: Official Website Is Launched!

In principle I agree with Richard. Why have a portal page that doesn't contain any info except a link to the catalog? I was also forced to change my pop up blocker settings for your page, which I don't like to do. Can you show the catalog in the (...) (...) I'm on dial up here, and I can't slam the site cuz it doesn't load. I have the newest flash and 98 too. It starts the loading progress bar and then stalls out.   Re: Official Website Is Launched!

(...) -snip- While he could have been more tactful, he is right. The pop-up is annoying, and websites that require the user to have the newest software and/or hardware are poorly designed.
