Whoa, here! Don't jump to conclusions so fast!
I'm simply stating that the projected price for the set
is a bit high for my tastes, even though it's mostly
comprised of basic bricks. I didn't mean to critisize
the desicion arising from this, but wouldn't you complain
too if Lego sold a 500 bricks set for $50? Sure, there's a lot
of specialized parts included, but wouldn't you rather
have three battraxes than one yellow castle? You would get a
lot more for your money.
So, what I'm simply implying here, is that Lego bring down the
prices a bit. Then, maybe more people would buy these sets...
If they were to say, slash the price by $20, than I would be as happy
as every one of you out there, seriously. But, the high price prospects
would just throw my funding into the pits of oblivion :)
And, no! My complaint isn't on junorization. My complaint is
on high pricing. The guarded inn was a steal of a deal, at $25
for around 240 pieces, most of them very useful, such as roofing elements
and such. At $70, all you get are bricks and a bunch of figures. It's
basically the same as purchasing several minifigure sets and a bag of
bricks. Does that surprise me? The heck no!
Don't get me wrong here. The yellow castle is one of the best sets
out there for castle. I just think the price would be cheaper,
since the model is quite small and is is mostly comprised of bricks.
Capiche?
Just my two brickz...
