When Lego Digital Designer was first announced/released, the community was told that the file format specs or a SDK so that people can read and write the LDD files would be made available. So far, the only standard I've found about modeling sticker "parts" is that they should be 0.25 LU off the surface of the piece they will be "stickered" to. I've seen some great renders of Legos that have string for cranes and such. Is Lsynth being used to create string, or are they using a different program? I've run into some problems, so I'm making BrickSpace available for download earlier than planned. You need Homeworld 1 to play it, and copies of that game are available for under 5 bucks on Amazon. One thing that is great about these forums is that everything is all in one place. I will check here before I go anywhere else. I haven't tried the sky sphere yet, but I'm still having a problem with the grass texture. I did as you said and put "4" in for the "floor_height". I even tried "4 Hollow", since that was the figure original there. What happens is that I get an (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)

Hello, I recently installed ldraw, l3p, l3pao, etc. onto a new computer and everyithng works fine except l3pao. When I try to run it I get: "Runtime error '68' Device Unavaliable" and it closes. I emailed to creator but I do not think he supports it (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Well, first off, using 'Type X' should be the notation of last resort. The prefered way to note variations of parts is to include a descriptive notation. When reviewing some parts with different types, I noticed some had the type number in arabic numbers (like 'Type 1', 'Type 2') in the part titles, while others used roman numbers (like 'Type I, 'Type II'). (...) I got the same errors when I started due to having "shared" part prefixes. All my parts started with the model number, space, then the "part". Again, I fixed it by using a - instead. (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad)

It looks like how I named the files was the problem. I changed the names of the files to something more simpler without spaces, and I got... (URL) Whew! Finally. Now I need to convert the stickers over to .dat. Oh and I need to make string for the (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
