We seriously need to explore other means of funding soon -- perhaps a small-
business loan or somesuch.  It's getting a bit big to keep doing part-time
and we need perhaps to hire a third person part- or full-time, etc., and get
some not-in-the-livingroom real office space.

I'd say add more valueadded features then reconsider the fee structure, or get
the commerce portions done and start charging for them. • ...
How about automating factoring?

It seems to me that making the AucZilla engine available to parts auctioneers
would generate more revenue than any other single added innovation.
Particularly if you could come up with a way of alerting your mailing list
(which I acknowledge as private) members to the other auctions - or at least
gave those buyers the option of being alerted.

For example, I have ~8000 elements ready to auction once I get around to doing
it one way or the other.  If I could plug into your software and be a test
case, I'd do it in a second and would be willing to cut a substantial
percentage of the proceeds your way.  I'm sure there are many others.  Mike
Stanley has written that he'd be interested, but he has more requirements than
I do (e.g. piece counts from x of certain sets, etc.)

Sincerely,

Chris

Nice dodge. :-) I agree, you probably do need more funding/people, but truly an awesome duck of the question without actually saying you were ducking. :-) I'd say add more valueadded features then reconsider the fee structure, or get the (...)
