(...) Sadly, it is not available to the NQC user. There is an opcode called "get battery power", but it sends the battery voltage to the PC rather than storing the voltage in a variable. -Kekoa (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: !!!! MLCad V1.3 (Mikes Lego CAD) IS READY !!!!

Mike, First off: thank you very much for MLCad! It looks great, and seems very spunky (ie, quick on the redraw). A couple of things I found pretty quickly: 1. MLCad doesn't look in the current directory for subfiles. The current directory is a part (...) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad)

No, but I consider being a model builder "playing with Lego bricks". I consider it using Lego for big construction projects for retailers. Small difference, but it is there. Scott Sanburn (...) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: On the subject of cameras

From: John Barnes <barnes@sensors.com> (...) There are some very tiny cameras available, some of which have been used in R/C planes. I'd suggest grabbing a copy of "Nuts & Volts" and perusing the ads. Last one I looked at had several outfits selling (...) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I know I have seen it in the stores, and it seems to me that I saw it more recently than 1972, in fact, I'd almost be sure of it. I know this is one of the items I looked (...)   Re: How much for a 6090?

For that specific set, that is a bit pricey. But it is amazing to still see one on a store shelf at all. Since I came out of my dark ages (two years ago this month), I've only seen three of them in stores, ever. You probably would not be able to (...) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: On the subject of cameras

(...) Check out SuperCircuits, Inc. They sell cameras and several different transmitters, many of which will run on 12volts or less. And they sell some *tiny* cameras! (The GMLTC is working on mounting one in a train locomotive...) (URL) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  On the subject of cameras

I have considerable interest in having a "legocam" option. I have browsed numerous internet sites for such devices and most have one thing in common: They're power hogs. The 2.4GHz more so than the 900MHz ones. They expect wall transformer power. (...) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  What is Samsonite Lego?

OK, someone recently asked me what Samsonite Lego is. LEGO, as we all know was founded in Denmark. By the mid 1950's, it was sold throughout the Scandanavian countries of Europe. In 1956 it started selling in West Germany, Europes largest market. By (...) (27 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
