Cool! If you have any 4.5V or 12V stuff, you might want to bring it and do
10-15 minutes on the history of LEGO trains. I'd also bring any recent stock
trains that you have, and some MOCs. Print out a variety of Track Designer
plans to show how the track geometry works. I'd also bring a variety of other
9V equipment and spend some time showing and discussing how all the 9V
equipment is compatible. I think the most important thing to stress is that the
whole LEGO line has potential for being used in building train layouts. I think
this is one thing which will make LEGO trains interesting to many people (gee,
I can buy my kid who already has a bunch of LEGO a train set and some extra
track and perhaps some extra wheels etc. and then she can just have at it). Of
course this little secret is what also allows us more serious modelers to make
such awsome creations, because many of the parts we use in our best creations
come from outside the Train or even Town themes.
