I decided that this model was good enough to submit to the withering gaze of
the rec.models.railroad crowd so I posted something.
Here's a Deja link to it which may or may not work
http://x53.deja.com/threadmsg_ct.xp?
thitnum=29&mhitnum=0&CONTEXT=969924599.1682047037 (paste it back together if
you need to)
or you can try finding it via the subject line:
FA Milton Train Works LEGO(r) Custom Streetcar Kit MTW-3001-rw
(yes, it is a flog, but it's mostly informational, besides that auction
doesn't need flogging, it's at 120+ USD with ONLY 9.5 days to go)
So far nothing in reply but it will be interesting to see what happens. I hope
the little dig about the mundanes liking LEGO trains best isn't taken the
wrong way, because it's not really a dig, per se. It's true, and the
progressives in the NMRA that welcome us know it. Not trying to restart
the "do we need the NMRA?" debate again but I did want to see if any bridges
get built that weren't there before.
(I mean the interpersonal kind, not the StRuCtures kind...)
