Hey Carl, I love your Swoop as well as Jay's. They are both very way cool and I sure would buy them if TLC decided to release them that way. Thanks for your comments on my model. Your Swoop is great. Very different to mine, much smaller. (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Swoop Model (speeder bike) - LDraw

Ps. I forgot, I've made a swoop model aswell. It's the smaller version, the Air2 Swoop. Find it at (URL) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Swoop Model (speeder bike) - LDraw

(...) I think it looks very good. I love the way you used the X-wing engine piece on it (very original). One tip: the rear 2x1 grey slope needs a little adjusting because it's not inline with the rest. For the rest it's a great model. Greetz, Jay (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Collectible Minifigs

(...) I expect they would use the "crossbow defense", as there is no notes of any kind on my insert, other than the usual TM stuff. I have the wimpy 1/2 size Canadian Summer 2000 catalog. (...) Chewie (...) Actually if you look carefully, they'll be a star at the bottom of all the advertisements. It'll say that all BUT the chewie set has unique figures. So there you go. --Anthony (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Collectible Minifigs

(...) So is Lego fasley advertising/promoting the set since the Chewbacca figure isn't truly "unique"? Travis (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Collectible Minifigs

(...) The only thing thats "unique" in that set is the bowcaster that comes with Chewie... and it's only "unique" in the respect that it comes packaged with Chewie, the black crossbows have been around for quite a while. The MF Chewie doesn't have a (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Heh... Sure. I'm willing to bet that what Steve's refering to is my prototype work for a Battlestar model. I'm in the prototyping & testing stage of building a 1/2 scale replica of the studio model for the BS:G. I'm guessing it will be around (...) (...) Actually the AT-ST is Shaun's, you can get instructions for it (dunno if they're complete yet) over at FBTB. It's an excellent rendition, but the set would have to be at a higher price point than the one that was mentioned before... it would (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

(...) Both AT-ATs were extra super keen, but Shaun Sullivan is responsible for the AT-ST. As for a Guild of Bricksmiths set... well, heck, last I knew Shaun was LDrawing the AT-ST. (URL) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The 2001 lineup (list on FBTB)

(...) <snip> (...) It sure would be sweet if it resembles (Dave's?) AT-ST shown at MIT’s 1999 MindFest event. (I know David Eaton made the one AT-AT and Shaun Sullivan made the other - I suspect the AT-ST is Dave's since the style is similar to his (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
