I had this error message on a Vista system. RIS 2.0 worked fine the first time I ran it, but gave this error every subsequent time (even if I uninstalled/reinstalled it). Memory definitely wasn't an issue since the system had 4GB RAM plus swap (...) (17 years ago, 22-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

I ran into this problem 2 weeks ago when trying to deploy a new software image to 2 of my labs at work. I'm using BricxCC and whenever I've changed something (even a single number) I've to download my program to my NXT. It's a bit slow. But I can live with that. The worst thing is that the connection drops during or after the download quite often (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

I have probably the same problem? Get the error message: A critical error has occurred. You may be running out of memory, or you may need to reinstall Robotics Invention System 2.0 I think a Windows update patch has done the thing, since it used to (...) (17 years ago, 7-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

GBC module creators tend to independently reinvent the same hopper solutions used in factories. Some of them shake, many of them have an agitator spinning inside it to loosen the pieces, but the simplest just use gravity and a change of direction. (...) (17 years ago, 2-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)
