Um, I still have to disagree (unless you’re saying that this IS an issue for YOU). At least from my standpoint. I know I wasn’t upset that “person X” had the power, I was upset that “person X did action Y for reason Z”. Certainly, some people thought that “person X is a bad choice”, but again, I don’t think the ultimate objection they had was that “SOMEBODY will have power over me”, it was the particulars of the situation, rather than the principles involved.
