Not to hijack this thread back to the original topic of insulting one another...

But quoting Larry... since no one has responded directly to the original
issue of 'tomfoolery' across our shared border, I stand with the assertion(s):

That Americans have shovelled out more than they have received of insults
(but who cares) -- http://news.lugnet.com/off-topic/debate/?n=18350

So, are you suggesting that 2 wrongs make it right?

That it is, indeed, the Americans who are the whiners--anytime someone
points out *any* area that could be improved, there is no end of flat-out
whining from Americans -- "My god no!  Don't take away our
SUV's/guns/private medical care/whathaveyou!

Darn right, because we happen to believe in freedom.

No *you* believe in *your* freedom.

We'll start jumping up and
down and wave the constitution around and throw a tantrum until y'all go
away and stop bothering us with the truth."

Ah, the "truth" about global warming?  Let me ask you Dave, how much global
warming are you experiencing up there?  None for me here, either!

That's another problem solved!
