In my example of 2x4 bricks, 202 per pound (approx).

Many people use $0.10 - $0.11 per peice as an MSRP metric number. Some sets
(blue tubs) are much lower than that and some (floating boats) are much higher.
Coastwatch comes in north of $0.30/piece on average. These number in and of
themselves are meaningless, they are only a very rough metric. Certain pieces
are very rare (i.e. red Slope Brick 45 2 x 2 Double Concave) and would be worth
even more than these metrics. Others (i.e. red brick 2 x 4) would be worth less
even from an older set.
