This 69.99 is a week long TRU sale...they had a lot of the blue and green ones on Sunday. They are not with the standard LEGO sets. Actually, A questions is why is this set not in the new 2002 catalog? Understand I am sure some things are developed well in advance, but mention of this one isn't anywhere to be found, until now. Hi all, I just found a bunch of 6150 Crystal Detector sets for $15 CDN! I found them at Zellers at Lansdowne Mall (Richmond, BC in Canada) and they had around 20 copies. Yeah, that's the place. I got the snowspeeder there a week or two before I had seen them anywhere else, which I think was released at the same time as the Y-wing/tie. Is this the toy store in Peninsula Village on 24th Avenue?? I believe it is, and if so, something changed from the last time I went in there! It was mid March of 1999. Greetings Vancouver. I just wanted to share some info on a store that I lived near, in South Surrey, called Jack in the Box toys. I found it to be a good source for the newer sets, they even had the Star Wars sets when they first came out before (...) (24 years ago, 18-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

Greetings! Today, November 12, 2000, a milestone was reached in the short history (so far) of the Vancouver Lego Club. I finally found a source for the blue tubs! (I won't be going to get any soon since I crashed my pickup) I bought my first last week at the Coquitliam TRU (On King Edward) I took the wrong exit off the Trans Canada and ended up lost in Port (...) Save-On-Foods has a few some sets I've never seen before (ie TRU, Wal-Mart, etc). 1271 Jungle Surprise 1265 Moon Buggy 1269 White Ninja 1268 Bike Blaster At $4.89 + tax they're pretty expensive for a handful of parts and a minifig. I was at the Guildford mall Bay store this afternoon, and found a previously opened Spider Slayer technic set (#3038). I did a quick check, and the motor and connecting wire is still there. I was at the TRU in Langley the other day. They had all of the stuff mentioned in this thread as well as the new Pod racers bucket! Interesting...I was in the TRU in Surrey tonight, and they had similar stuff. They had the Dinosaur Adventurers, set 5921 - Research Glider (URL) 5955- All Terrain Trapper (URL) a red airplane which I think is a 2000 set, but I'm not sure. Didn't (...) (...) You should ask the LEGO merchandiser that works that store. The display is property of LEGO, not TRU.
