You know, there doesn't really appear to be much in the way of LEGO for wannabe enthusiasts any more. (By the way, I'm thinking entirely on the Technic line here). It appears to me that every set these days seems to be geared towards developing a (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

This morning, I read in the newspaper that TLG Denmark will have to "dumb" 1,000 of its 10,000 workers due to bad commercial results! Wow, now I'm even more excited! I wonder if that is a 5 speed with reverse - I hope so, all though a six speed would be cool too. And, they final provided for left of right hand steer. I told my daughter about this Luggage thread, and as a Terry Pratchett fan she right away built a Luggage. No, you can't stick minifig legs on a chest directly, but you can stick them handily into a standard 2x4 brick, plunk the chest on top of (...) (26 years ago, 15-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

I bought two. At the time I called, they were out of the larger child sizes. The largest size they had was childs 7. (this should really be directed to lugnet.obsessive) I was just opening my first-ever set #6441, Divers Deep Reef Refuge. I noticed that the minifigs in the obligatory plastic view-tray had their head gear installed, but the associated leg-parts (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
