<snipped reference that says Steve is paraphrasing someone else....>

That's funny. I was born in Germany, and have definitely inherited the
follow instructions gene. But since I married an Irish-Canadian, and had
twins, the pool has become muddied.

I now have one 6 year old that acts like a German, and the other twin
acts like an American :-)

The kid that ignores the instructions actually does build it carefully
the first time, and THEN throws the instructions away. He has been
working on an elaborate X-Wing with folding wings and guns, and an
R2D2 seat, and landing gear and..... for about 3 months solid. Walking
in his room is best accomplished by those experienced in these matters.

Back to work...

Cheers,
