If everyone puts normal mini-fig house doors, opening inward, about 2 or 3 studs in from the edge of a connection corridor, there would be instant airlocks between all the modules. (...) Being that the NILTC is an 8-wide train club I would personally rather build 6 stud wide 24 plus stud long containers verses the LEGO company’s version of 4 studs wide 8 studs long. Overall I think this is a very good idea. I've thought of doing something similar for BrikWars. I was thinking along the lines of a standard unit like train hobbyists use.
