Well, 10 is not necessarily better than 8. Perhaps it's like Brooks' Law, where
increasing the number of programmers on a software project doesn't decrease the
delivery time. The cost of communication negates the extra manpower, especially
if components are interconnected and have schedule dependencies.
There may be a way to streamline it with larger numbers, but people have to be
egoless. Ie, you might have four key builders who will literally "farm out" a
task. The secondary builders have to be cooperative enough to "just build gun
turrets" or "photocopy piece assemblies" for the entire time.
