hi folks,
taking into account all your valuable input the steerco has reworded the initial
CAreadme.txt file in response to concerns which have been arisen in the
disussion. please learn that we haven't changed a single character in the actual
Creative Commons licence, since it has been written by lawyers. nonetheless both
files can be found at:
http://www.ldraw.org/files/CAreadme.txt
http://www.ldraw.org/files/CAlicense.txt
at the bottom you'll find the extract of the readme file. please have a read of
the updated version and share your concerns.
many thx,
Willy Tschager on behalf of the LDraw SteerCo

However this text is not a licence! It is simply a handy reference for
understanding the Legal Code (the full license), which can be found in
the CAlicense.txt file it is a human-readable expression of some of its
key terms. Think of it as the user-friendly interface to the Legal Code
beneath. This text itself has no legal value, and its contents do not
appear in the actual licence. For a deeper insight please visit:
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/
1. Rights
It essentially grants the following freedoms.
