Is there anyone who wants to take a stab at designing the NXT wheel (part 54087)
for LDraw?
I'm ready to give up on my attempt. I've been using SolidWorks and Marc Klein's
excellent stl2dat but I just don't have the skills. It seems like it would take
a six month course in SolidWorks to know enough to design this part. I also
don't have any precision measuring instruments to make this accurate.
If anyone feels like trying it I can supply you with Marc's SolidWorks models
for part 44292, which should be useful for using as the outer rim of the wheel.
