If people are willing to go to the effort of making or using an

It's quite condescending to express the view that alternative libraries are
created/used just 'in order to avoid writing ...'. All of those alternatives
were in existance long before the 'license'. Actually it sounds more like
ldraw.org is trying to monopolize things...

LDRAW isn't the only Lego library - it has got no special rights, and you
should read your posts twice before pressing 'send'.

Anders,

I'm sorry to say this but all your comments to me in this thread have been very
negative without offering anything positive in return (by way of suggestions for
improvements for example). Don made some good points and through debate (with a
little rudeness by me as I admitted elsewhere) I came to see his point.

From you I have merely got comments disparaging certain fairly minor points of
my arguments plus an accusation that because I am a member of the SteerCo acting
in a personal capacity I should not be allowed to be rude.

If you are so concerned about people being rude I would suggest you take a
careful look at your posts in this thread and consider that, perhaps, it is not
only the people you disagree with who are being rude.

Tim
