I am not a Bricksmith user, so there may be issues I don't know, but 60481 is an official part included in library, so you don't have to download it individually (I suspect you didn't download it's subpart 60481s01.dat, or placed it in the wrong (...) (...) I think that many of the POV-Ray colors were tuned by the All-In-One Installer from LDraw.org. These are tuned for rendering. The LDconfig.ldr is not tuned for rendering. I've been trying to use the fastrad.inc script with scenes generated by the new version (1.4) of L3P that supports LDConfig.ldr. The recommended practice is to be faithful to the real part, eg. if the areas with background color are not printed, then use main color, otherwise use solid background color. (...) Where did you install the programs? Both Vista and Windows 7 treat the "C:\Program Files" folder hierarchy in a special, extra protected way. Many 'old' programs will work much better if installed outside of this folder, for example create (...) (14 years ago, 1-Mar-11, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Hi Michael, I did a re-install,won't work. Only the first attemp to run the application was succesfull (after the installation, you can start the application, thats when it did run). Hi, I installed the LDVIEW 4.1.0.14 utility. With the initial setup, i could start LDVIEW. Anyhow, when i want to restart it after closing, it's no longer working. Hi Reuben, (...) 4-4rin18 and 4-4rin19 are official files, released in 2010 (2010-01 and 2010-02). Since you missed at least 2 releases, I'd suggest you reinstall the complete LDraw library. (...) Hi all, I'm working on a model that includes the part 55981.dat. This references the sub-part 55981s01.dat. To get the model to load in MLCAD I think I also had to download the part 4-4rin18.dat from the site (URL) ldr file can be found here: (URL) (...)
