Not perfect, the green and light grey portions of the actual part sort of fade. A nice effect with the paint, but rendering it like that would have taken the file size way above the 7.8K it already is. I'm strongly considering submitting it as a (...) When I started using MLCAD/L3P/POV-RAY, I had quite a few issues. - Installation - The existing ldraw.org was pretty good in instructing how to find and install these things. I can't find minifig hair pieces in the standard MLCAD (LDRAW) parts release. I'm looking under "Other Parts/M." Is there a hair piece. I just want a generic minifig hair piece. You need to have the Visual Basic runtime DLL's installed to use this. Luckily, this can be downloaded free-of-charge on the web. Thanks! I actually wanted to add tile to the foor to make it more exciting, but each of these shots already takes over 2 hours to generate (in POV-RAY) on my machine! Unfortunately, there is currently no way to get it to launch in fullscreen mode. Maybe the saver launchers have a way around this problem. The startup spin vector problem is another problem, since LDView doesn't have any way of making this happen (...) (24 years ago, 13-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Hi, as the author of LDView, I've got two things to add. First, since LDView is not an actual screensaver, you would have no way of having it come on automatically. However, as Calvin pointed out, it will run full-screen. In addition, it supports (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I noticed one of Marc Klein's parts had comments for a part rotation point. I assume this is because he used MLCad to open the part and saved it. It got me thinking, though. What if a part file had extended commands for custom part rotation points (...) (24 years ago, 12-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) Possibly! I got a copy of the latest LDLite and it does a much better job of rendering the edge lines.
