True :) What I had in mind though was something like NUTS
(http://www.ogham.demon.co.uk/nuts.html) or ew-too. These usually
compile out of the archive and don't require much maintainance. They are
stripped down and optimised - ie you don't have objects or creatures
like a MUD would have!
I guess it is a question of balance? While a talker would be easier for
the users to access as virtually everyone has telnet, setting up IRC
might be easier on the server end?
Actually.. would there be any reason for LUGNET to implement its own IRC
server? Or aren't IRC channels on other servers permament?
