I think the wavelength is around 600 nm but I haven't been able to come up with a sensor which could recogonise the laser signal alone and no other signal. Russell , Having that encoder will help you a lot. One of the biggest problems with using steppers is that they will stall when you get to higher speeds. Hello, all: Just following-up on yesterday's message about the HB resetting during the initial download. Removing the DS1233 and replacing it with a reset switch produces a working configuration. To get a really good idea, examine skeletal and muscular structures of animals. All animal limbs use ball & socket joints. This can be reproduced in lego. To simulate muscles, the best way is to use the Flex system. Study the movements of a dog or (...) (27 years ago, 7-Nov-98, to lugnet.build)

I believe the tachometers just use different source numbers (similar to how Timers and random numbers work). You should be able to define the appropriate macros similar to how Timer() is implemented in rcx.nqh. I believe there are also a few (...) (27 years ago, 6-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)
