It's dawned on me that I probably should stock up on the 1.0 bricks. Anyone know where some deals on these can be had? My applications are pretty much going to be stationary so I want wall power. (25 years ago, 25-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: I got a Friends demo CD in the mail

Taya's playing with the real thing as I type this. Seems OK, I guess. Very not at all brick related, but we knew that. So far it hasn't repeated a sequence, stuff seems to be happening, so I guess it's like an interactive adventure of sorts. (25 years ago, 25-Dec-99, to lugnet.games.lego.friends)

  Replacing damaged/lost pieces

My 4-year old Labrador Retriever "puppy" accidently found his way into the room where my new RIS kit was, and now I'm the unfortunate owner of a few custom-modified (i.e. chewed upon) pieces. 6026 - King Leo - 19 Pieces Overall: Obviously not much to this set. Cool Elements: The new 3x4x6 windowed tower (dark gray) is good. It would have been so much better if it had been 2x4x6 so you could put 2 of these back to back to make a (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Yeah, there seem to be other discrepancies, too. At my local Sears, the only place so far to stock most of the 2000 Lego, I found this odd comparison: 7124 Flash Speeder: 105 pcs, $19.99 CAD 7115 Gungan Patrol: 77 pcs, $29.99 CAD Yikes, no wonder (...) (25 years ago, 25-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)
