Thank you for your offer, but I would feel guilty in accepting - it was my
own stupid fault that led to my predicament.

In any case, somebody else pointed me to the pitsco-legodacta website where
I ordered replacements.

Merry Christmas,

Daniel

Daniel,

I know how accidents can happen.

Send me your address and I'll send you an extra diff cage that I have.

To answer your first question, go to:

http://w3.one.net/~hughesj/technica/t_contents.html

and you will see the element registry.  Please verify if the part you
mentioned is the "differential type II"

Best Regards and Merry Christmas,

My 4-year old Labrador Retriever "puppy" accidently found his way into the

custom-modified (i.e. chewed upon) pieces. One of the damaged pieces is a
small tire, but the other is (more distressingly) the dark grey piece that
looks like a differential cage.

This leads to two questions:

1. Is there some official reference of part names/numbers that I could use
to positively identify the pieces I need/want?

2. Is there anywhere I can purchase individual LEGO pieces?

Thanks,

Daniel
