It happens. I have three dogs and all of them have chewed up at least one
piece.

Call or write to LEGO Consumer Affairs for replacement parts. Sometimes they
charge you, sometimes they don't. They have never charged me, but I always
write them, I don't call, and I have never needed a major peice replaced.
