To Bley or not to Bley...(was: Thank you for replying)

(...) I Pretty much sold off all of my collection on BrickLink over a couple of years period. But that wasn't because of the color change at all - that was just a coincidence that the color change occurred just as I was entering a mini-mid life (...)   Re: Thank you for replying

(...) Woah! Did you actually sell/trade/burn/give away your old greys and browns? Or do you just no longer build with them? How does your bley collection compare to what you used to have in old gray? I guess I ask because I'm still at the stage (...) (19 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

More buildings for NMRA in Detroit

Hi All, I completed 3 more building facades completed for Detroit. I think I have two more to go and then I am done. A few highlights: Maerske blue (I used quite a few of the 1x6 inverse slopes to get the 1x1 striping effect in the facade), dark (...)   Re: Thank you for replying

(...) IMHO, it's not 'stupid.' Having just recently built a decent size MOC in only new light bley, I must admit that I am impressed with it on it's own. That is the key phrase - 'on it's own.' Since I have no more old grey to mix together and see (...) (19 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

(...) Preparing a filesystemblock with files inside should be not a big problem...
