  Re: Very strange problems

(...) That is really bad news. Since we are writing a genetic programming system with six RCXs involved that communicate with each other, the programs tend to get pretty long. Often things fail. Right now I have the problem that if I save a program (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Very strange problems

(...) As far as I can tell, legOS has some really strange bugs. I've learned to take it for granted that some programs (without warning) will just crash and lock up the machine. This is unfortunate, but I've never found a pattern to them so there is (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Re: Technic Box #2: Still no word from these participants

I have finally received an automated email from him stating that he wouldn't be back in the office until Tues. May 30 (lucky bugger).   Re: What color is this?

(...) SCALA colors can be broken into two schemes. The first is seen in sets of 1997 (the 3200's) and the second beginning when the dolls became characters in 1998 (the 3100's). Although 3119 uses the newer color scheme, the element you picked out (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.scala)

  Re: Parts Inventories

Ah whoops I was in a bit of a rush. No fault on yourself. I meant to say that out of all the castle lego (and therefore only lego) pages I have searched over, I would say that your page, Pawel's page, and Jeff's page are my favorites. What I meant (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: lnp communication question

(...) lnp does a checksum and throws away bad data. I think it is a 1 byte checksum so 1 out of 256 errors gets through anyway. There is no retry so timeout and retry has to be handled by some higher level code. (25 years ago, 21-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
