No, I disagree. They're fairly crude mech designs. They're all obviously
designed as polygonal wireframes for the game, then the facets painted in by a
comic artist. I think Lego versions would be fairly plain - although they
would make interesting subjects for linking panels together to make hollow
models - something I've had to do on my AT-AT, to keep the weight down.
For example, did you know that you can push a headlight brick (1x1 with
recessed side stud) into two places on the underside of the sloping edge of a
slender wing (8x4 notched wing plate)? The lip below the headlight stud just
clips around the edge of the wing. You can then fit a plate along sloping
edges of your plated model. Tilting hinges and headlight bricks are great for
clipping plates together for making large, lightweight hollow shapes.
Sorry if all my posts contradict themselves by the way, but I still don't
think they're great Mecha in Front Mission 3.
JJ.

| Check out the Front Mission 3 action figures. They look far better than the wireframe things in the screenshots. They're not the most imaginative mecha designs, but I think they were aiming for making them look more functional than pretty. (...) (...)
