I have really enjoyed building eight wide, but I do not think it would be the
right thing for LEGO to do. I think 8-wides would be too expensive. I also think
that 8-wides would be too big. To have good size run of track for 6-wides takes
up a lot of room, to do the same thing for 8-wides would take up a ridiculous
amount of room. I will buy LEGO trains whether they are 8 or 6 studs wide, but I
think more people will buy 6 stud wide trains, my opinion is based simply on
what I think 8-wide trains would cost. If I like a LEGO design enough I'll buy
two and convert it to 8-wide.

P.S. You guys are getting just a bit to cagey with your "no comments" and your
"hypothetical questions". I cannot wait until the truth comes out.
