April Fools aside and at the risk of offending purists I've started cutting
up the 32173
Technic Liftarm 2 x 7 with 2 Ball Joints
Cutting off the fake rams and the one ball joint which is off at an angle
leaves a ball joint with a two hole beam attached. When used in connection
with the axle joiner with ball housing makes an excellent and far stronger
suspension link for top and bottom wishbone arms etc.

| Yeah, Roboslizonicles are a great source of supply of "raw" material ;) The part you describe yields a ball with a short length of cross axle attached from the other end when you chop it up as well. So, in hopes that it might inspire some Lego design engineer somewhere to go ahead and just make a few, I've decided to maintain a list of such items (...) (23 years ago, 1-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)
