I've occasionally wished for a 7x7, 56-tooth gear (same size as the outside
of the large turntable). I know others have taken turntables apart to use
them as gears (I think I saw this usage in a clock mechanism). In fact, I'd
buy several (say 10 or less?) in any color just for the novelty of having
them.
I've also wished for metal axles, but I'm not sure how practical that would be.
Nice work on the existing prototypes, BTW.
