Ah, if it has a length of 5.5 studs, then I can see the use for it.
I've often had the need for an n.5 stud lendth axle, and by matching the
5.5 axle with an axle extender and another axle, it may serve this
purpose. Sounds useful enough for me.

The 3 in 8448 simply fill the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.technic)
