Why is it that the good Reverend has everyone of his folders moderated?
Rev's gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=revbps
He must have come up on the random hit list and is pretty high up the host
hits ladder. Some 'celebrities' have had all their folders cleared within
days of this. My only conclusion that it's the religious content of some of
his folders. But what then of his BrickWar and his stadium folders. I can't
imagine that no moderator hasn't stumbled across him yet, and this wealth of
creation the Rev has made seems to be tied up in an inability to assess it's
content and idelogical avoidance. Why can't you just have a general pg
rating for the folders and anything that falls under clear it. Currently I
have 3 folders that are still in moderation mode.
My gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=silversmurfer
One is my ToyFair article scans which I'm guessing may breach some sort of
copyright issue. Another folder is my contact folder which I tagged as
off-topic. It has a screenshot of my website, a contact txt doc and a lego
related rant. Another folder is all my drawings I've done that are Lego
related done over the course of 15 years. This one I'm not sure why it
hasn't been cleared, although the other 2 are understandable. However in the
Rev's situation it seems to me to be preferential mistreatment.
cheers, Joseph
ps: in no means am I raising myself to the highest of standards that the Rev
embodies in bricksmithery by posting both our galleries in the same post. my
clumsy paws can make a crow's call to the Rev's escaped songbird always out
of reach and wonderful to behold.

| (...) they are not unmoderated, but they are not yet public either. I'm sure that's no problem for Brendan, since he deep links to them on his website. I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and relax and wait for us to catch up on moderation. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)
