Hey there Lego fans! I just moved to Vancouver last week, but I have been a Lugnet member for a while now, so I already knew about the VLC. I'll probably be bringing a friend from my daughter's school with me, he has a great mountain fortress-type castle and has been building working siege engines lately. he also traded me most of a Metroliner for stuff he needed... it's now been washed (...) I had moderately high hopes when I saw an ad in the local (Surrey) paper for a "Giant Toy Flea Market" to be held in a local mall. It went off yesterday morning. That's the biggest train layout I've been part of so far (not big compared to the big train clubs, but still... gives you a respect for the amount of $$ spent on track by those guys! (...) You're using an RCX to control the RCX on the train via the IR port? Have you tried using several RCX enabled trains and addressing each train separately? That would be 100% pure LEGO DCC!
