Good idea Steve. Rather than using labels, use bricks themselves.
However, I don't think we should ask Michel to rebuild his
existing containers. He probably has other creations in the works
that need his attention. To distinguish containers that the rest of us
contribute, use some unique color that no one else is using.
As far as I am concerned, I have _none_ of the unique parts Michel
mentioned below. The best I could contribute is plenty of 2x3 dark grey
thin walls. I also could spare some blue train windows if these are in
short
supply. If we don't use any special parts for the stacked "dummy"
containers, then I could easily help out (it's just bricks, plates and
tiles).
I could follow nearly any color scheme you suggest. I kind of like
the 'band' idea...it just won't be consistent with what Michel has
already built. Oh well.
It would be great if you could design a "dummy" container
prototype that closely matches the ones shown in
http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/4000/4549/4549-02.html
without using specialized parts.

| (...) True enough - I updated rule #2 in the prior posting. (...) Unless I break open my 4549, I too will be improvising containers. (...) If you've got lots of plates&tiles, you're ahead of me... :-) (...) Actually, it will be consistent. If you (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

| Steve, I don't quite understand your suggestions. All of my containers have doors on one or both ends. I could easily place a paper with my name inside each of mine, or put a certain color brick inside. The doors are the limiting factor for me, they (...)
