  Walmart & UK Lego Prices

With the announcement of Wal-Mart's purchase of Asda, will we see a fall in the UK's pricing of Lego? I doubt it. Maybe a small reduction, but I reckon, when they realise how easy it is to rip-off UK consumers (especially as it is legal!), we will (...) (26 years ago, 15-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Prices do sometimes vary between branches of Beatties - for example the Naboo swamp set is 6.99 in Beatties in Winchester, but an unenticing 9.99 in the Southampton branch about 12 miles away.
