q2 is more tricky. Either someone near the geographical middle could host it
at their home, or could find a suitable hall/pub/whatever nearby. The last
LEGOFest had in the Uk, in 1996, was at Windsor, which was great, but not
ideal for a 'swap meet' type do.

q3. Given that the more notice people have, the more likely they are going
to be able to attend, I suggest we choose a weekend in September, before it
gets too cold/dark for travelling long distances.
Any other ideas? Everyone too scared to meet 'in the flesh'?

I don't mind travelling a long way - the problem I have is getting there
since I can't drive.
