To be slightly more informative: That does make a difference. The links are
significantly more distinct, regardless of the size of the little box. It also
doesn't detract from the impression of the site. (in fact, the bright blue
looks quite good set against the light blue/grey message header)
My browser has been left in 'untampered mode', so the values are at Netscape
default.
