OK, check out the traffic page now. http://www.lugnet.com/news/traffic/

The 4-message intro pages aren't really intended to be used as a newsreader.
They're there as an invitation to see what a group/area is about. Think of
them as "samples" of what lies ahead in a group. Without the partial article
bodies, the site looks rather dead; subject lines alone don't give much of an
impression of activity or spirit.
Luckily, if you want to visit the groups often with a news-reading frame of
mind, you can do that straight from the traffic page, or make yourself a
set of bookmarks such as these:
http://www.lugnet.com/build/?n=,-20&v=c
http://www.lugnet.com/general/?n=,-40&v=c
http://www.lugnet.com/market/auction/?n=,-100&v=c
http://www.lugnet.com/loc/?n=*,-20&v=c
A star (*) character in the n= part means to coalesce all the groups down
the newsgroup tree, rather than just a single group. It's like having a
virtual group made up out of dozens or hundreds of other groups.

Let me see what I can do.

Interesting. Wow! Good stuff to know, thanks.
