Well, I'll break my "This is my final
post in this thread" promise to reply
to the first post in this thread that's
right on the spot.  Matt, I salute you.

Thanks...but I was just saying what I
thought came right.

I mean, come on people.  I don't deserve
to be treated this way because i was upset
at the situation and wrote a post to
express my feelings.  I've been married 3
1/2 years now and my wife, who's studying
to become a psychologist, is as intelligent
as you can be.  Why do I explain all this?

I'm not sure why some cannot comprehend
sarcasm...in today's society, we *need*
humor more than anything. Talking about
life as it is shows lurkers that us lego
fans have normal lives, and aren't
obsessive geeks. (I for one, draw and write
far more than I build with the brick.)

I'll explain my point of vue.  To me, when
someone judges a relationship with so little
facts, it's as if the other person, my wife
here, was too stupid to realize how evil I
am.  "Poor her, people said, how she must
suffer...  You need an attitude adjustment,
LEGO are LEGO..."

Again, I don't see how one can make a
personal attack without any base.

It seems nobody but me has ever had bad
days, bad experiences.  I said I was
sometimes short tempered.  I think I was
being honest.  But I also started the post
with a title "Divorce" and then by saying
that i exagerated... This said clearly,
i thought, that i was exagerating the
whole issue because i was ticked off.
Now, if I'm the only one that has bad
feelings when 3 days of work and a
perfectly good chair go to dump, I'm
sorry.  I'm sorry i'm honest enough
to trust this community with my feelings.

Man, it's crazy to think how many times
I've had guests knock models to the floor
by accident or take apart a model when
I didn't have the instructions. Sure, I
got angry at first, but I couldn't see
the merit of holding it against them. The
next day, I just forgot about it and went on.
Heck, that's life. Has anyone else had
a bad experience like this? Heck, I still
laugh when people ask me if I still
have 'that lego model I broke a while ago'.

I didn't see any injustice with your actions.

I am hurt by your posts.  I was only posting
to have discussions about bad LEGO days.
You know, like the good thread that talks
about getting a brick up your feet or things
like that.  If people can't keep their
judgements for themselves, I don't see
the point of having threads about other
things but LEGO-products here on LUGNET.

Honesty is a good thing, and I appreciate
that you would go to the trouble to post
your experiences. Say it like it is. That's
the beauty of lugnet.

I don't think I attacked any member here w
ith my post.  I don't even think it was
offensive for anyone.  If you guys think
i'm some sort of sexist, well, I'm not.
I'm simply a guy who likes to complain
about little things. If you don't like
this, ignore my posts, but nobody has
the right to attack me and declare that
i'm immature, sexist or whatever for a
simple, funny-meant post.

Truth to say, I saw little reason for
anyone to bother to complain. (I thought
it would evoke a lot of 'yeah, that
happened to me, but this is worse' posts.)
Maybe we need less political thinking
and more ideas here? The best thing the
community needs is less judgement so
it's not divided apart.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got better
things to do than defend myself. Especially
since i realize more and more by reading
your posts that the fact that my English
is not perfect may well be the cause of
this flaming on me. I thought i wrote it
so people would understand i was joking.
I was wrong. Maybe I should hire someone
to check my posts before I get attacked
because I don't speak English naturally?!

Heck, I make grammatical mistakes a lot.
(when it comes to complex words, using them
in improper context, and I'm always nailed
for it.) You english sounds fine to me, so
I don't see much of a problem. (I'm
just not the person to signify error. As
long as you get the point across, that's
all that matters. :)

Thank for your thoughts,
