Ooooooooooooooh! I like this :)))) I always think and dream of all the
possibilities too! My Five themes would be (yes, some will be what others
have mentioned as I totally agree with them!)...
1, Mythology and Ancient History would be a total winner! All of them...
The Romans, Greeks, Vikings, anything like that, that was totally involved
and developed in Buildings and Transportation. I think with the Classical
History that it should be easy with Lego and the "Breezeway" style :P
2, LORD OF THE RINGS would KILL! YES, YES, YES!!! how Awesome would that be!
3, A more realistic style and version of the Great Outback or even Desert
style sets with either a camel or... Kangaroo.
4, Another, yes better and more modern version of architecture, with special
windows, doors, 45 degree angle walls, textured bricks, basically just
specialized bricks and accessories all round!
5, More Fantasy world/beast/beings type things, just something exciting,
interesting, refer to Richard Noeckel's post above.
6, I know! I had to do it... a Haunted Castle/house theme! Different from
the Fright Knights etc
7, Eek! I think Girls need another theme similar but better than the
classic 'Paradisa' theme...
8, 'Great Giants' - Large but not too Large scaled versions of... Ocean
Liners/Vessels/Ferries/Ships etc, Large Trucks, construction vehicles, Jumbo
Planes, Buses, Submarines, Trains etc (it doesn't have to be war related
either).
9, Nursery Rhyme/tales themes for children, just smaller sets, but based on
the classics. I guess they somewhat were influenced on classic stories with
some of the Belville stuff (recent). Like Cinderella for example.
10, yes we got here! More Robotics would be cool, not totally Technic style
though, and with more functions, I want to build a Johnny Five!!!
11, I wonder how a proper Safari theme would go? I don't mean in Duplo either.
12, Seven wonders of the world theme!
13, Build your own items... like a camera for example.
Others would be Underwater but more mystical and maybe closer to say
Mermaids and fantasy etc. (with a Underwater Castle and new plants etc
etc)... Also if they ever expanded Pirates, what about Gypsy's? hahaha
I really think it would do Lego massive favours if they did do the Ancient
History themes, for teaching children about our past etc, not only that but
they could throw in a special booklet with some information on each
including time lines and general information.
Well that's all I have time for right now! :)
