Speaking of which, does anyone have a rough concept of what 1200-1800
elements can build, sphere-wize?
Does anyone want to take a swipe at a proposed element breakdown for LEGO
Sculptor?
Here is one I came up with:
Size Quantity
b2x10 8
b2x8 8
b2x3 32
b2x4 96
b2x2 96
b1x1 64
b1x2 64
b1x3 32
b1x4 64
b1x6 24
b1x8 8
p1x6 16
p1x3 16
p2x6 16
p1x8 8
p1x10 8
p2x8 8
p2x10 8
p2x4 96
p1x4 64
p1x2 128
p1x3 32
p2x2 32
p1x1 0
p2x2L 16
p1x1 256
------------
Total 1200
Given this, COULD a decent-sized LEGO sphere be made? If not, what changes
to the above count would need to be made?

| Yes, most excellent post, Richard. On the classic brick front, though, I sent an email to Lego direct last week asking for a Lego Sculptor kit. I suggested a set contained in a tub, like the 3033, but the elements would ONLY in one color and would (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.general) !!
