The LEGO graph paper has been available on the LEGO web site for quite a
while.

I was not aware of this, and I must say that I'm VERY greatful for the link
(sincerely... thank you Mike).  This will come in very handy, but I can
still see the possibilities for larger sheets (sizes that most home printers
are not capable of handling).  If I were to attempt a large mural or model,
the 8.5" x 11" size would be hindering. As a resourcefull LEGO enthusiast I
could easily tape several sheets together, but a pre-made roll would be nice.

*Suggestion* - What about a wipeable mat that uses markers?  These are
commonly used as note boards and such.  The obvious pros and cons:

Pros - Easy to fix mistakes and alter ideas.  Environmentally friendly in
that it is re-usable and long-lasting.

Cons - This could be very messy for kids (and adults) to use.

A transparent mat might not be a bad idea either.  You could place it over a
favorite poster, puzzle, or picture, to duplicate it to a mural to be made
with LEGO bricks.

Until that happens, I'll be sketching on the graph paper made known to me by
Mr. Walsh - THANK YOU!

Ken Wright
