Who cares? Who wants to see a 497(928) Galaxy Explorer in blueish Gray? Pointless. Besides, where is Technic in the category? (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: How have the new colors affected your recent buying decisions?

(...) [SNIP] (...) For myself, the color change isn't an issue when it comes to spending money on LEGO, whether it's S@H, retail, or BrickLink. My spending is actually up significantly, but more for personal reasons than anything external (like the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Hi Dave, (...) because patents run out after 18 years, fortunately. (...) It's not, that's how patents are supposed to work. You get a monopoly for a certain time, and after that it's free for everybody. So if you want to keep competition at bay you (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) You got a LEGO said that was already ASSEMBLED? Boy, that must have been a set from 1998 or 1999, at the hight of Juniorization; a one-piece LEGO set. /\/\ark "sorry, couldn't resist" de Kock (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: How have the new colors affected your recent buying decisions?

(...) I am another who is used to spending between $5000.00 - $10,000 a year on Sets and bulk ordering. Probably another $2000.00 or so on Bricklink. So far this year I have only ordered about $300.00 of old light gray bricks in bulk from S@H and (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: More opinions needed - possible future Legends

(...) It's a shame Lego is still ignoring the color question. I was drawen back into the hobby by the realism of the Santa Fe. This model would have looked absurd in blue grey. The ISD would be an absolute eye-sore in blue grey. Any new theme (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: How have the new colors affected your recent buying decisions?

(...) Outstanding question Allen it's a shame Lego isn't asking this instead if putting on the blinders and asking about future themes! I personally bought 2 star destroyers and quit alot of PAB. I've seen some great new parts introduced but I won't (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 6 new bulk packs at S@H

(...) I'd love to see 565 Lunar Lander re-released as a legend!!! I'm sure that people would buy it as a legend and as a source of blue pieces (lots of slopes). That was my very first "big" LEGO set.   Lego shop in Frankfurt?

Hi all! I was in Germany last week, in Obernburg, Darmstadt and Frankfurt. In Frankfurt I found a shop called "BEHLE" where I bought some S@H sets (plain bricks and roof bricks) cheaper than from S@H (not no mention the shipping costs). I was also (...)
