I haven’t said much on the issue, but every time I see a new dark “grey” brick my stomach turns because it a) doesn’t match my old bricks and b) looks like a blah color to me. It just doesn’t look right. Every non-afol person I’ve told of the change thinks it’s stupid. Brickshelf has a poll that says only 11% are happy with the color replacement.

TLC says not many people are complaining (according to other posts), so maybe something should be done to inform people other than hard core afols (maybe a banner or something on the major sites that occasional users would see) to call Consumer Affairs and voice their concern. Maybe then there would be a small chance of getting the old colors back. What are three more colors among dozens of lesser used colors to TLC anyway? If too many colors are a problem, get rid of lime green and give me my dark grey back!
