I started a poll with the basic question:
How long before the Lego company beats a shame-faced strategic retreat and

So far, over half have answered Never.
If you believe that (and Im not saying that you guys are wrong) then why all
the whining? Im not going to call it voicing your opinion or expressing
your concern, its whining. If you dont believe Lego will act on the
complaints at any time, then there isnt a lot of point in voicing complaint.
It would seem to me to be best to either shup up and move on, or continue to
express your displeasure in the belief that at some point Lego will get a
clue.

Hi Bruce,
Im not sure if the data youve collected can be easily interpreted in that way
without knowing which people have complained. Its possible that those who
answered never are the ones who are happy (or have settled for) the change.
Its also possible that those who answered never have complained but have
since given up hope based on the response they have received. I didnt answer
never because I still have some hope that this will be turned around. But, I
dont think any of us are in possession of enough facts to answer the question
with any authority, so it tends to look like wishful thinking on the one hand
and acquiescence or despair on the other.
More than the loss of colours, Im saddened by the effect all this has had on
our community. I wish that we could all get back to building in the colours of
our choice.
Peace and possibility,
Professor Whateverly
