So...

When you hear, see, or think the word "Lego" - what's the first element • that
comes to mind (any color) without even thinking?

Mine's a 2x4 plate.

mine is a 2x2 red brick. Although less common it seems more iconistic than
the 2x4
the classic minifig smiley is just behind.

On that note, have people noticed the classic smiley is always used by LEGO
in printed or promotional material, increasingly in Lego brand stores. They
seem aware of the 'cult' staus of the lil yellow classic smiley. Why then
are they a endangered spieces in modern sets. Now more than ever.
