Hi all, I received my 10041 Main Street from Lego last week, needless to say I'm very happy and it's an awesome set. For the attachment on the stud I used a jumper plate to get the extra lift that is needed for a clean attachment. Also, the (...) (...) I first put that you can only connect the "clicker" (the part with the pin) to the bottom of a brick or plate. But I forgot to put in that you can connect the "clickee" to a stud. I would really appreciate an instruction book of that car. I believe a saw some pictures of the early edition somewhere and asked around who the maker was but could not locate the one who made it. Thanks for posting that Huw - I'm fevourishly waiting for them to become available in the USA. In this picture (URL) it looks like the wedge plates in the top left hand corner are 4 studs long - is that the case? If so, I believe that this is a new (...) Try using simple green. I think a 30% simple green to 70% water and soaking them in a bucket might work.. I've been using it lately, and found that it works quite well for cleaning, and Simple Green has a minty-type scent... Scott Lyttle (...) (22 years ago, 6-Mar-03, to lugnet.general)

Use Lysol Kitchen Cleaner - white bottle with purple trim. I use it full strength on ABS Lego that is really bad, or cut it all the way down to about 1/8 strength for the old Acetate Lego or really weathered stuff. It will even take the smoke smell (...) Hello, I decided to build a dark red building and went with plates since they are so readily available. Volume and surface are not always tightly correlated but the Technic beam has lots more surface area. 1 - I'm assuming you actually weighed 50 of each and did the math or whatever. I have (...)
